I think you must have a IX, huh? If it was me, I'd go with the GSC's.

I think the GSC s1's are making the best power for the 9's right now (on the stock turbo).

Thats a broad question....considering the die hards will insist you do a search, I will ask you a couple of questions...

What are your goals?

Budget?

Ideals (i.e., is a rough idle OK with you as long as you make as much power as possible, or you want the best all around setup?)

You need to determine what you are shooting for and what you are willing to live with to attain your goals, and also what supporting mods you have on the vehicle.

If its a bone stock car, you need to start somewhere else. Its obviously not stock if you're asking about cams, so I'll assume you're ready for it.

For highly modified cars, JUN cams seem to be the choice.

HKS are the staple units as they were some of the first used, but GSC has identical profiles for the HKS units IIRC.

Tomei's ProCams I havent seen used much....they have higher lift than some but there arent enough results that I can find, honestly.

Considering cost and effectiveness, determined by what you're looking for, GSC cams are dollar for dollar the best.

comp 280's are worth about 10-15 whp over the HKS as per turbotrix. a good tuner can tune out the idle for you. i did a lot of research.

I personally just went with the GSC S1's for the VIII. Read the comparison between HKS 272's and GSC s1's. It sold me.
