Well ive been going to this shop for 5 years so they are my good friends now and ive talked to them about 5 times since last night and they are saying from all the description and sounds that its my turbo. Within the past 2 months its been kind of funny...like it just didnt feel like it was pulling as hard as it should. I really didnt think anything of it but now its all coming together. I know its either a boost leak or my turbo.

If the turbo did not have excessive shaft play, the vanes were not damaged, and spun freely, the turbo is fine. Do a compression check and a boost leak test. You may have skipped some teeth on your timing belt, who knows.

my bet is you have a leak at the gasket between the turbo outlet pipe and licp.

By the shop do you mean THE SHOP in Norwalk, CT - if so bring the car back we will look it over and diagnose it for free

Otherwise go back to your shop and have them look it over

Not sure..but if you BOV got stuck open, your car would have a really hard time making boost. From what I read it sounds like the turbo is ok..

It was the death whine...i put it back together in my garage yesterday and drove it to the shop really slowly. The whine sounded like a siren from a firetruck and then i would hear the turbo start to spool and seconds later you could hear the compressor blade just clinking and it would stop. Its like a 99.9% sure its my turbo...the death whine is giving it away. Im going with the FP Evo Green Turbo and then having ams re-tune it for me cause they arent to far from my house.

Well we took out the turbo and turns out it was my turbo that died and not a boost leak or anything else. Have a FP Green (ported and coated) on the way with a Walbro 255 fuel pump, 780cc injectors, TurboXS front mount followed by an AMS tune.
