What oil filter??

Hey guys ive saw and read before that oem is the way to go on these. But they arent right down the road from me to get. How do the WIX and FRAM compare to these? Ive always used WIX on my rsxs and not had a problem. Just trying to see so if i need or order an OEM one today i can.

I refuse to go to my local dealer anymore, so I just put a Fram on my car, screw it... I can't imagine it would hurt it.

your oil for your car is like the blood in your body, would you want your blood to be all contaminated? Don't suffice and get a crappy oil filter. Use the OEM ones. You can order them from several sights online, and ends up being the same price as just going to the dealer.

I don't remember where I read it, but Fram is supposed to be one of the worst oil filters. Mobil 1, Wix, Napa Gold(same as wix basically), and Bosch are some of the best.

I remember they cut the housings of the leading oil filters in half, and the filter element was pretty cheap in fram. But I guess it really depends on how often you change your oil and how much you are willing to spend...to each his own

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT USE FRAM FILTERS.

Purolator Pure One and Mobil-1 are the best filters hands down (better than OEM).
