Just take it and keep it. This gives you two options...

1) You can sell it and get good money for it.

2) You can keep it until you go to high enough boost levels where you'll need it.

DO it..I have one I got from my BF for xmas...have a little prob with it though...like 70% of people who have it...after shifting gears or coming from a highger rpm, then slowing down with the car in neutral....the rpms dip WAY to low..like below 1000, not so good..if it happens just right the car will stall out...another thing NOT good at ALL....but hey...get it..i love the sound...other then that, the little low rmps can be treated...not driving hard all the damn time like i do...but hey...I do have an evo..so its kinda expected

this is what i discovered...i watched a clip of a guy who was engineering a new type of BOV and he said a proper bov should be mounted 4mm off the pipe...simply boltin a hks ssqv inplace of the stock dv is NOT 4mm and it ran like **** VTA'd...so i decided to buy a HKS SSQV mounted on an UICP for a good deal (sits on the pipe) and ran it vta...well what do u know, it responded BETTER than my APS dual port and and MR DV (not saying it wasnt running rich or anything), but between shifts it would close and open faster, and running it for a little over a month in Washington's cold weather, hasn't stalled or even stumbled on me a single time. So my opinion, if ur gonna VTA, VTA off the pipe. PS: i am selling my UICP/BOV setup because im selling my car if any1 wants to buy it

Don't do it, waste of time. Even if you recirc, it will still cause problems unless you get rid of the MAF.

I might as well try it out... I'll let you guys know what I find.

P.S. A link to the flange/recirculation kit would be greatly appreciated

An Intake with a tune will do the job for the WOosh Sound ! instead of the bov if you really want it

i have one that was VTA but i recirculated it cuz it was stallin too much at high rpms.

sounds kinda rice when vta but gets a lots of attention. wanted/unwanted.

even at recirc it still sounds nice. different than stock.

if i knew that id be going recirc i would not have gotten it.

im guessing all you guys who ran it vta ran it without the uicp, as my previous post stated i ran it off the pipe, i previously ran 2 other hks bov's (JUST the bov) and it ran liek SH*T...running it with the uicp it runs so well...

I ran it with the UICP and still had no luck getting it to work properly. Would start bogging at after partially letting off throttle then getting back on it. Always had to completely get off the throttle first to avoid any problems.
