Make sure the vacuum hose is still connected to the EGR valve (they tend to pop off under high boost). Try applying a 12 volt signal to the EGR valve and listen to see if you hear the valve solenoid "click". If theres no click, its dead. As a last resort, remove the EGR valve, and inspect it for cracks, they have been known to crack and leak on even very new Evo's (06). Good luck!

The following errors occurred with your search:
Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

Tried PO403,po403, po 403, etc....first About all I do on here is search. Joined a year ago and have only piped up 70 times or so No worries. I'll check the EGR valve (as soon as I find where it is in my Mitsu CD Service manual

Thanks for the recommendations, gentlemen.

Sonicnofadz, any further suggestions as far as maybe resistance/voltages measured for the Valve? or is it just click or no click for working/not working?

Tom

The EGR valve is below the TB. A gold metal disc like thing...

Describe the block. Both lines go to the egr solenoid mounted lower aft of engine (can barely reach it from above engine). One of the lines is tee'd directly to egr valve underneath TB, the other reaches the egr valve from the solenoid.

It is a PIA replacing the solenoid.
