I just went to RMR today and had them install the catback exhaust. It went in perfectly and mounted nice and snug. No issues whatsoever. Nice throaty rumble, too. A little loud, but it sounds mean as hell. I guess no more "sure it's stock" anymore...

The muffler and tip look awesome, too. Not too much bling, but just sharp-looking.

I will have them drop shpped directly from RMR. Whatever RMR has in stock, I have in stock. Whatever Vivid has in stock, I have in stock ! We all work together to get things done in a timely manner.

Don't get me wrong, I have been waiting a month but I have been waiting a month from RMR for one, what's to say they are going to get it out of the door for you if I have been on the list and haven't yet been called? I know they were supposed to finish up Monday or Tuesday this week and have them but they also have a long list of people waiting. I wanted it by the weekend but I don't see that happening. It seems if you are in the area they will help you out, but if not then you are at the bottom of the list. There are people posting how they went and got exhausts installed by them with custom mufflers, etc but the rest of us are still waiting on an exhaust?

Read your pm. I bought some that were reserved for Vivid with Vivid's consent and that may have been way before you ordered yours ? I don't know. Call RMR tomorrow and check the status of yours. The ones that Vivid and I are getting may have been on the list before you. Only RMR can answer that. I just know that I have one shipping tomorrow and one left in stock.

But in all actuallity, I would be expecting a call from RMR if you've been on the waiting list. They just made alot from what Dan at Vivid tells me.

I just called on Friday and was told Monday or Tuesday.
Do you want to make a friendly wager that I will not get a phone call tomorrow? Why do I have to stay on top of them, if I am on the list they should be calling me.
I am one person on here who always touts there stuff, yet I seem to be the only person who can't get anything!
Downpipe (in stock) 3 weeks and I had to call to actually get it.
I ordered an air filter from a vendor (Kastle's Korner). It's backordered of course, that is 2 weeks and counting now.
I sucks because there is other **** I'd like to buy but how many times can you get slapped in the face?
I forget who I talked to but they were really nice on the phone, etc.
I am thinking about the IC pipes but can't get past the exhaust at this point. although if I ordered them now I might get them in time for Christmas.

I'm sorry to hear that man. Maybe it's just because RMR stuff is really popular. More so than you think. Don't take it personal man. I can help you if you want. I can call RMR tomorrow and see what your status is and if it's not happening then I got you. Like I said, I know Vivid ordered alot a while ago so the list might have started after that order ?? They can only make so many. One way or another, we will get you your exhaust. I can get your other stuff (I/C piping asap) that is in stock. You don't need to do anyhting but pm me with your first and last name. I'll get you an exhaust. No worries.

While I was in the shop today (at RMR), A LOT of exhausts were being wrapped for shipping. Since the mufflers are welded to the exhaust piping, they take a lot of fabrication and time. The exhaust put into my car today was finished today. They are super-busy there. I wanted to get the straight intake pipe and even a carbon-fiber plug cover, too, but they were out of stock and I am as local as you could be.

Did you just roll in there and get the exhuast?
That was my point (local) if you did.

The problem was with the muffler supplier so they changed to a new one. When I ordred the my DP I was actually calling to order the catback. They told me then that the problem and said they had a new one and were working on them. 3 weeks later when I called they told me the same exact thing. Last week they said they were putting them together for Monday or Tuesday.

no I knew that they were shipping alot. His concern is that since they didn't call him he won't be getting one.
