Greddy E-Manage Installation Tips

Has anyone documented the installation of the Greddy E-Manage on the EVO? Things like the rotary switch settings, jumpers, and which wires to splice into?

That would be great! I know on the RX-7 board, there is a forum for sharing Power FC maps. Maybe if there are enough people here with the e-manage, we could do the same type of thing.

That's a nice setup they have there. I'm sure we could do something similar. I've been doing some searching today and I've downloaded the main unit and software manuals in pdf format so I can be prepared when it shows up. I really wish I could get ahold of one of those ecu harness extensions before I install it, but oh well. Hopefully I'll be installing Thursday and tuning at the track on friday or saturday.

Oh yeah, the rotary switch settings should be 3-8-3 (as far as I can tell) and the jumpers are just for the vtec setup.

I already made a plug and play harness but at the moment I'm selling it with the E-Manage/E-01 since I have to solder all the wiring into the harness adaptor. Plug and play makes it nice for the electically challenged.

I'll buy a harness today if you're interested in selling one by itself. Do you have a website? I'm looking for 'local' vendors to check out.

Thanks for the info. Keep me posted on the harnesses, how much are they selling for? I'd really like to get one before the SO so I'm not the slowest Evo there.

Do you know exactly what the problem is? There are only 2 wires to bypass for the ignition timing.

CT9A, e-mail me the way you hooked it up and I'll confirm your settings for you. I have the EVO 7 and EVO 8 diagrams here. Could be something very simple. I assume you soldered all the connections correct?
