tried using toluene mixture today. i figure a 15-1 ratio w/ 92 octane & toluene is o.k. makes a difference. when using 100 octane mix and 92, the car runs on a different "map". i ran a tank of 92 again, and the map changed again. today using the toluene mix, the car switched back to the more agressive map. the car hits boost a lot smoother w/ more than 92 octane.

Guys, you should really check out the alcohol injection kits we have instock now. The kit uses the factory intercooler sprayer bottle as the resevoir, it holds about 1.5 gallons so it lasts a long time. The alcohol can be bought at any Home Depot or hardware store. Nice thing is you aren't burning it up while you are just driving it around. The system uses a progressive controller, so you can set at what boost levels it starts to come on and when it maxes the spray out.

We are getting buy with 25 psi of boost on 93/94 octane with ease.

The problem with the boosters, as I see it anyway, is you add them and then drive around and burn them up even when not in boost. You have to make sure you have either booster or alcohol but with the alcohol you have 1.5 gallons that only gets sprayed when you are in boost (I usually set them up to not come on before 14 psi). This can make a 1.5 gallon tank last a very very long time. The controller also has a low level light on it so you know when you should add more. Controller is about the size of a pack of cigerettes.

Just another option. I have been impressed by the kits and what it will allow you to do.

David,

Would you happen to have a picture of the controller?

Pictures of the kit are on our website.

The '05 can still use the alcohol injection, we have a "generic" bottle for general applications too, much smaller, same price.
