MR Short Shift

I have been looking around for a short shift setup for my Evo IX MR. So far all I have found is 5 speed shifters. I was wondering if anyone had a link to a site where I could get my hands on one or if possibly the STI shifter set up would fit?

i believe this is a pretty hard shifter to change out. Most people only have it done in shop....

Works makes the only one that I know of. They used to only sell it installed, but I am not sure if that changed. It works great and drastically changes how the car shifts.

The feel of the 6 speed shifter is perfect. Please leave it alone. If you want to clean up the feel get some bushings or something but don't mess with the throws.

Also, no one but Works makes them and they only install in house.

I beleive it only for the 5-speeders not the 6 mr's. But check it out anyways.

Eh? He's talking about the Works 6spd short-shifter. They have the only one on the market and only install it in-house, because it's quite a chore.

That's why no one else has made one and why Works only does it in-house. The good thing is that the 6spd shifts so nicely that it's not really a big deal.
