myself & pretty much everyone else who has viewed this thread, believes & knows you should be making more whp, regardless of the ambient conditions.

yeah, vboy lay'd down some serious power, but let's face he, rubs on his tune more than most single guy's out here rub on their skin flute. If he denies it, that is bs, charlie is hooked on tuning like a ***** on crack, he just needs to do it!!

charlie, you are neither a ***** or a korean woman on crack!! but lets face, you love tuning & it's all that you can think about for the most part....trust me, i know first hand........some times the right & sometimes the left
what's up Aby? anyway i'm running the mr/metal BOV. I'm thinking going a different route or better BOV. I thought about forge BOV, but to many flutter issues. Maybe go with Tial, but i hate VTA. lol. Anyway you know how we roll Aby.
You and I are always testing stuffs and we tune our own cars. That's why we kept on making more power than the average evos out there. I have 2 maps for each roadrace course. Hot and cold weather. I even tune my evo during track days.

Well i would think it would be alittle higher.... i was tuned.. stock piping, fmic and o2 housing 9.8. 280 cams,3in exhaust, fuel pump on 93 octane and put down 350 on the same type of dyno.. at 23psi I would think it would be around 370+..

Not to go too far OT, but the Forge RS has fewer bucking issues (it purges @ light throttle/lift off)...however, I can see the part-throttle flutter issues becoming annoying during road racing conditions. On the street you're more on/off the throttle. I have thought about going to a stiffer version of the OEM metal BOV, like a Works or Tomei. Anyone have experience with those?

That might make a small difference.

well i swear by active pnumatic pressure retention as opposed to a passive spring fed system. so i say leak stop all the way!

up north is ok... just work.

lol. by the way Erik. i have tested both Works and Tomei. guess what?? all of hem start to dumb air the same as the metal bov, which is 25-26psi

conclusion not worth a fking dime.

I am picking up my green turbo tomorrow..

I will have a dyno graph from Reese Tuning here in San Diego soon after..

I made 341whp and 375tq on a similar dyno and actually met john with the 2.3L green combo here in San Diego a few weeks back..

My 2.3l is a ix and I think that the mivec makes all the difference..

I am adding an intercooler and the invidia 02 housing this week and will follow with the results of my 22psi tune after..

Dyno #'s are only nubers!!!! I know we all love to see big nubers but it doesn't mean anything. At least you have wordt case scenario numbers and probably a safe tune. 350 wtq is a lot...
Ok here you see some people running 2.0 bar + on pump gas!!! I rather have your power for years then 600whp for .... hours, days maybe months.
Also those people running their car at 2.0 bar only want to see high number and break records (to make them feel good about the thousands they spent) they all turn the boost down for daily (at least I hope).

That is not true. Maybe some people "just" want high numbers, but most people want big power, period. People run 2.0 bar (roughly 30psi) when they install methanol to a lot of power. I ran my car ***** out for 2.5 years at 25-30psi for OVER 75,000 miles. I had a stock turbo then the Green turbo. As long as your tuned and have proper fuel management, you can run high boost safely.

my car is for sale. pm for questions. You have to remember I'm runining the factory intake, factory TB, and factory intake manifold. The cam gears are set to zero. The tuner never bothered to see what gains if any by adjusting the gears.
