Is a meth kit totally out of the question for you?
My Green starting waking up at like 25+psi... I spike 28psi daily on pump 93 with 75%/25% meth/water and drop to like 24 at redline (was tuned for spike of 29.5psi, but scared to run this daily, due to weather fluctuations possibly causing knock)
I will say this: ever since I started running meth, I beat on the car less than when it was on pump gas, because I always have it in the back of my mind that the meth kit may malfunction and blow the engine.

meth is probably out of the question because I to would worry about the meth kit failing.

lol!!! whatre you doing with a 2.3 on a green?
theres several things that make me want to push meth... there are quite a few good failsafe kits out there... im thinking of using Tephra's patch that ll swap your ECU map to a a safer non meth map once it recognizes that the meth kit has failed

Are you running a test pipe or hfc? the only reason I ask is that my first dyno was very dissapointing at 286hp, should have been more like 350 according to my tuner. Once things were looked at, my HFC was a melted brick and my exhaust mani had a grand canyon sided crack in it-- I put a test pipe in and a new mani and she is a different car. You probably checked already, but just in case. good luck

i looking at buying a beater. im running a test pipe. there is no problems with my car. the stock intake box and maybe my stock piping is robbing some power but I like the stock looking engine bay. Im in cali
boost was 21psi. 91octane. I bought the car used and never had it dynoed before.
Compression was tested 8 months ago. 190 across the board.
The previous owner said it made 340hp and 307tq. same dyno
mods were same as above except
2.0 factory block
9.8 hotside
stock o2 housing
software XEDE with Smart
no port work
I assume 91octane 23psi.
I was disapponited because the car did make great numbers with the 2.0 and evo 8 turbo. And if you compare the numbers to the old setup to the current numbers= no such good improvement
