Cyberevo uses the Apexi RX-6 kit. it works well for RR, but not for drag.

i don't see what the problem is in choosing a turbo that no one else (in the US) is using especially since we have Japanese cars. besides if anyone really wanted the best Garrett turbo for their car, they would spend the cash & go with HKS. they take all the strong attributes of the Garrett design & make it BETTER!

use whatever turbo u want to use, but if there is no originality or individuality in your design/application then we might as well all be called cattle... mooooooo

if the guy wants a GReddy kit, let him make that decision
i love that Apexi-RX6 kit, the quality and design are superb looks freaking stealthy too, black dp, black piping, but you will pay a hefty price for the kit...$6500ish is where they start, id buy one if i could justify spending that much for a turbo kit, but ETS, or fullrace, or any other company for that matter makes a damn good turbo kit for $2k less, to each his own though, its your money...

Greddy kits were never a bad kit, kits are just out dated. jounrel bearings are going extint anyways. esp now that were seeing more twin scroll turbo kits popping up. I would Suggest any Garret "gt series turbo.

I've run a 35r on my evo some a while now and the spool power and noise never get old.

Good luck whatever you decide.

i'm still unfamiliar with any Japanese car that has come factory with a BB turbo. journal bearing turbos are outdated which is funny to hear cuz if u crack open an evo turbo that is exactly what it has-journal bearing in a twin scroll config...

u want a new high tech turbo?? u get a VNT (variable nozzle turbine) factory on Ford Super Duty diesels, '07 Porsche 911TT, need i go on???

So your saying journal bearing turbo's are superior to ball bearing turbo's?

not superior, but its the choice car makers use when they need longevity. i'm not knocking BB turbos, i'm just merely pointing out that they only last 1/2 as long as a journal bearing turbo which is y u don't find them on factory setups

Guy at a local shop here has been running the Greddy T-67 set up for a couple of years now without a problem. His car was in one of the DSport(?) magazines a while back. He has made low 500 awhp on pump and upper 580's on race gas......I run the Apexi RX6 kit and so far love it. I currently make 449 awhp & 376 tq @ 21 lbs. on 93 octane. I purchased the kit new for $2700.00 back in November or December. Apexi was wanting to move these kits a while back which is why the price was so low. When these kits first hit the market they were 6k
