10.5 hotside noise?

Just installed 10.5hotside w/megan o2. And when i started the car, it made a weird noise, like a vibrating, buzzing sound. Car idling, it went away, after a few minutes. Took slow drive around block, then i could hear it , after stopsign, then fades away,.. Wondering, is this normal? Has to break in?

i think its normal. the reason is valve.

hold the wastegate's clips behind the radiator with screwdriver or something like that. if the noise stops, its all about the valve

So, if it is wg valve causing flapper to vibrate, how do you adjust it? I noticed it was kinda hard get that wg rod to hook back onto hotside flapper lever.

Did you damage any of the fan blades? Get under the car while its running and listen.

i didnt adjust it. because its not a problem. so dont think about that if the noise comes from the flapper.

You do realize that the flapper itself is held tight against the turbine housing at all times, except when the WGA pushes it open? The only time it opens is when your predetermined boost level has been achieved.

Looked under car and nothing is rubbing. Sounds like Olynth is right. valve noise. After two days... The rattling noise is minimal now, briefly comes and goes, when car is at idle.
Any others with this symptom?

My car seems to be making kind of a rattling noise at idle sometimes and at boost. At first I was thinking an exhaust leak or something but, had a new exhaust put on and it still did it. Next im gonna change out my turbo manifold see if it still does it. I don't think its anything major because the noise has not affected the power of the car. But sure would be nice to figure out what in the world it is.
