Lightbulb Megan Racing Evo 9 black cat back

MSRP: $425.00

With law enforcment becoming ever more strickt with modifying your vehicle with performance parts, the need for more discreet performance parts have increased to keep a low profile.

Megan Racing has developed a line of Cat-Back exhausts systems to meet the needs of todays Low-Profile enthusiasts without sacrificing performance. This cat-back system is based around the Drift-Spec exhaust systems and feature the muffler and piping, coated in a thick High-Temperature flat black ceramic coating to offer a more subtle and discreet look.

This ceramic coating also acts as an amazing Anti-Corrosion layer that will enhance the durability of your exhaust while also trapping heat and noise within the piping to increase performance and reduce interior resonance.

The tone of these exhausts is much more mellow while still retaining a mellow yet aggressive tone at Wide-Open throttle.

Application:
2005-2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

- 3" piping, 4.5" tip with removable silencer

- Black finish

That looks pretty badass. I like it. I wouldnt like it on my blue EVO personally since I have a polished theme going on, but it would look great with some combos!

Sounds good for stricter areas. Except how much do cops actually look at exhausts. I'm sure they're attracted by the sound of the exhaust not the color.

i had a cop pull my over one time saying "when i saw your exhaust, i knew it was the kind that wouldnt pass a decibel test." - btw i was cruising in neutral when i went by him so all he needed was to SEE my exhaust. needless to say i had to get a decibel test and it failed.

In California you get pulled over for both and get a ticket for "modified" exhaust. They could care less about whether it's loud or not and they don't need a decibel meter to cite you either since it's up to the officers "discretion".

That is pretty cool that manufacturers are catching on to these issues and modifying their products accordingly.

I'm here in socal visiting and I was wondering why I haven't seen a lot of cars with exhausts. Makes sense.

Contact Zeus or TTP and they should be able to hook you up.

I saw a post of someone that went in to get a fix-it ticket written off and the police officer said that all "these" cars are fixed up and check underneath the car and saw a flat black exhaust and said that it was okay. I think if it helps you get out of one ticket then it was worth it. Just my .02
