MBC problem, not a leak, but sucks just as much

Okay, so i changed out all the hoses, and the fitting for the IC pipe and made sure there were no leaks. However, i still hear what sounds like the wastegate opening and dumping at and apporaching 13psi. The car will pretty much hit a wall at 13psi, and not boost any higher, the sound stays the same level and such. I have a Hallman boos tcontroller hooked up properly, use from a member, its hooked up to the BOV and intake mani line infront of the T off where my boost guage is hooked up to. Not sure what the problem is.

Could it be that hte MBC isn't work? so its reverting to wastegate pressure and dumping from there. At 3 turns i get 13 psi and lots of noise. at 0 turns i get somewhere in the 5 psi area.

Should i hook it up to the turbo housing nipple instead of hte bov, intake line?

not really sure what else it could be.

You should always use the turbo nipple as the source, I don't know why so many people insist on use the BOV to intake line. Try that.

Turbo Nipple > MBC < WasteGate

I think that should fix your issue.

Turbo nipple and WG set-up= Boost will not spike as much but is known to taper more and spool will be a little slower

Intake line and WG set-up= Faster spool but will spike more because of it, also will hold boost better.

That's why most people go with the intake line way.

you can pick up positive boost from there and the wastgate vacum line should be connected. or you can pick up positive boost from the intake like has been said befor.

might wanna check that, if the light spring is in there then 13psi sounds about right.
