Exhaust Manifolds??

1. Would it be better to port the stock manifold or go with an aftermarket exhaust manifold?
2. Is it true that if you get an aftermarket manifold that you have to upgrade you injectors?

What you should be trying to figure out is how to use the search feature.....

But just out of the kindness of my heart, porting is the cheapest and best way to go at the moment. The only mani that made more power when Buschur did testing was the full race manifold when talking about stock turbo mani's. Buy the Megan if you want it to crack and "spit hot fiya" all over your engine compartment.

Porting is cheaper, about $200 but you have to provide Buschur with the mani if not then he'll add $300 until you ship one back. Cheap mani like the one on Ebay will crack, but you're looking at $800-$1400 for a mani from Tomei, JIC, Jun or HKS. If you want a mani that still retain some what of a stock look so you won't get harassed by the cops then the Tomei look some what stock with the heat shield on. Check out www.bulletproofautomotive.com they have it and someone on this forum has that set up as well.

i purchased a stock exhuast manifold for $48/shipped. Just back from vacation today and had it sitting on my door step. Planning on sending it out to PPI when I get some time. No down time or core charge.

Really though I was told if you coat the flanges it will decrease the risk of cracking by a ton!

Stocker....cheaper Aftermarket...looks good but a lil pricey. Also I have the exh temp in my manifold. If i get an aftermaket one, i would have to get a bung welded in
