50 vs 57 trim...

I have searched the forum but found no answer.

I want, A solid 450 AWHP, on pump gas, not meth, or alky. 1.5 bar/23 psi.
My mods are, Hypertech FMIC, HKS RS intake, 255 Walbro, Downpipe, Full TBE, Exedy Twin plate clutch. Of course 880 Injectors for whatever turbo I decide to run.

And I want Close to stock driveabilty, longevity, and reliability on the car.

So 50 trim kit or 57 trim? I will be getting some cams soon, but not in the near future. and Also head studs. Spool isn't really a big issue for me.

near stock drivability but you dont care about spool how does that work.

3065 would make the power for sure with some room to spare. a 3076 would but i dunno about on straight pump.

well, all I pretty much care about is to get 450 AWHP, on pump alone!

The 50 trim won't get you 450 on pump but the 57 trim will

Also for there will be an Evo 8 with the ETS 57 trim going on the dyno tomorrow I believe to get pump gas numbers, so I would keep an eye out on this forum for that thread by tomorrow evening or friday sometime.

Sounds good! I might call tom and change the 50 trim to the 57!! So you're expecting 450ish on just pump with supporting mods?

I'm waiting for these numbers to make the final decision on either the 57 or 60 trim. Hope you hit some impressive numbers

I like the 57 trim cause its still streetable and if i wanted to do highway pull, i still should be fast with great response .

I will keep everyone posted.

I know that it is a little ways off but I have the ATP GT3071R kit with susporting mods and am going to be getting tuned by AMS on August 23. I will post up my numbers then. Also something to think about is that the ATP kit is $2399 and has bigger turbos that you can choose from. Not saying that what you are looking at is not good just giving you some other options!

ATP exhaust housing blow. Until we get some numbers from ETS turbo owners, I can't say but still feel ATP doesn't have the power potential or capacity the ETS turbos have.
