My friend's magnus manifold on his 2nd gen cracked and had to get it replaced. I have the AMS VSR and love it. I too have never heard of an AMS VSR cracking...

The AMS one i will get but need to let the funds catch up
I'm waiting for ETS's SMIM too, but also waiting for the funds to catch up

I think it will be on par with AMS, maybe hoping for a better price point but I'm sure we'll see from one of you guys any gains or benifits of having an ETS SMIM

Again just waiting on #s

The magnus has been changed from the orginal that cracked. I have the new design(on my 2nd Gen) and it has thicker welds and is definately a stronger manifold than the orginal...you guys have to remember when the magnus came out most of us dsmer and Evo guys werent running 40+psi...and meth...which is the reason why alot of the orginal cracked...I still run the magus on my Galant vr4 with 35psi and so far so good...although I can tell you that if it blew apart I would go with the JMfab intake...but anyway alot of the big guys have switch over to the AMS I think because of fear of the old magnus...and Ams's cars being so damn fast...

If your going to run a stock turbo or 20g, the intake manifold just pushes back your boost lag because it gives more tq and hp up top, which is always a plus. I am running a VSR intake on my vehicle + GT35 kit. Made about 410 whp on stock IM and when I put in the VSR I went up to 425 whp with significant tq difference up top. Don't know about the Magnus, but most VSR intakes do all the same and now a lot of High hp cars running Magnus. Each one of them has said the VSR looks much nicer.
