i am thinking of buying an fully built (Stroker, headwork..ect) AMS engine from a friend of mine.
The only problem i have is that the engine has been sitting in his store for the last 2 years in the same crate that AMS deleveried the engine in. the guy hasnt even opened the crate. I was wandering if the engine will be ok and not suffer any storage problems eg corrosion or the like.

any help will be appriciated

 

well assembly lube is pretty heavy and is made to stick onto parts so you dont have a dry start when the motor is finally started.2 years is a long time but if it has been in dry storage i think you will be fine.
