Does your BOV hold Boost?? What are you using?
Mine didn't. I had a brand new Agency Power BOV on my Evo w/ no issues. When it got to the dyno w/ the boost cranked up [I'm not sure how much because I haven't picked up the car, to 22-23 psi I'm guessing] it didn't hold boost.. I picked up a JDM MR BOV to overcome this issue and it held just fine. But I guess what I'm looking for is for folks to list what they have and how well it works. So if you don't mind list what BOV you are using, how much boost you are running and any issues you had w/ your BOV if any. The obvious choice for most will be the JDM MR. But I'm also interested to see what others will hold more boost. Thanks.
No I'm not a "ricer". I recently had a ton of mods installed and this one mod was the weak link. I upgraded because I had a plastic OEM bov and I got a great deal on the AP bov. Once I get the car back I'll post the graphs and the numbers it made. Thanks for your help.

I boost leak tested an evo that had an aps dual vent p.o.s and it didnt hold boost. It leaked out the adjustment screw on the top, he took it off an bought a stock IX bov.
The stock IX (jdm MR) is a great bov and will hold boost well for most people and then you can modify it by crushing (1G dsm trick) to hold a little more boost or "Gus Mod it". http://www.thedodgegarage.com/turbo_bov_mod.html

It's a stock valve that I added an additional port (under diaghram) solenoid controlled which is energized by the throttle VDC option in the IC relay parameter. Tried to explain as simple as possible but it works like stock if TPS < 2.2 volts and holds solid if >.
I had the rs which was OK but sold it because I didn't like the normal drive flutter characteristics.

I have run both the Greddy Typs S and the Forge RS (current). And also have not seen issues with the APS unit locally. But I have been more than happy with the Forge RS.
