o ring question

Hi all,
Well, I'm in the middle of changing my clutch (what a pain in the ***!!!), pretty much the whole front of the car is apart. I do have everything in baggies and labeled, but, I found an O ring on the ground and I'm not sure where it came from. I'll try to post a pic, its about the size of the pinkie finger, black, rubbery. If any of you guys have any clue as to where it might have come from, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time, oh, I did search by the way
