$#%&ing sound!!
I have a feeling its the clutch, I recently got an ACT streetlyte flywheel and exedy stage 1 clutch and it rattles when I start, and at low RPMs. I also have a downpipe that rattles against the cross member a bit, but its better than the transfer case that it used to rest on.
Why not have a friend listen for the noise. To find odd noises I use a 4ft section of garden hose. One end on my ear the other eng gets moved around the engine bay. It works like a stethoscope.
It wouldn't take much work to put the tie bars off or at a minimum inspect the dowpipe/oil pan :: downpipe/tie bar clearances. Remember SS parts expand when hot. If you don't hear the noise when the car is cold but do when its hot odds are its exhaust related.
If it is the DP rubbing on the oil pan, transfer case, or tie bars you're probably getting mechanical knock too. Best to hunt this down to recover some hidden HP!
Or
Go to walmart and buy a digital camera with video and sound. Use it to make a video of the noise. Post the video. Return the camera. Wait for advice from others.

Id go with clutch noise. I know you have an aftermarket clutch, but i made a thread about this just recently and consensus said its just a normal noise with the car whether the clutch is stock or aftermarket. Mines been doing it for a little over a year and ive had no problems. Mine also gets louder when i turn the AC on, so see if that happens.

def. sounds like from the exhaust.
Check heatsheilds in the undercarraige or missing heatsheild bolts around the exhaust manifold.
Check the whole exhaust piping if it's hitting anything.
If you can get underneath your car safely. Have your GF duplicate the noise and you can pinpoint where it's coming from.

hmm highly doubt it's the exhaust as i just swapped out the whole entire thing for a turboback and was just under it.. swapped out to a new turbo so the exhaust manifold came off as well...

Something may be loose or rubbing. Check the downpipe clearance and make sure its not hitting the driveshaft while your at it.
You wouldnt happen to have dropped a nut, screw, bolt, etc inside the exhaust pipes anywhere would you? I dont think its the bearing, My throw out is needing replaced right now and mine sounds like a supercharger when the clutch it out. Do you have your pipe on the hanger tight? How did you get your lower sway bars on? Did it fit without any adjustments? My dp is custom and I actually have to jack the dp up in order to get my bars back on. If you had to do that it could be you loose sway bars rattling.
positive there wasn't anything dropped.. i actually had this noise before i installed the new turbo back.. as for the lower tie braces, they aren't even on the car right now. plan on getting some washers. i'm 100% sure it isn't the exhaust.. it's such a irritating sound.. i know it's nothing serious, but it's driving me ntus

my guess is the clutch setup, Mine rattled like that right before it blew out. I had chadder for the longest time when in neutral, and sometimes when engaged. Then one day soon after (not sure how long) I didnt time it, but I would say like5000 mi give or take, it blew out. Left me stranded on the side of the highway. I felt it going though, it would slip like crazy between 3-5 k rpms
appreciate it bud
i will try reving the car up with clutch pressed down.. doesn't sound like a clutch issue tho?
actually had the clutch done at a shop... watchu mean tho?

I didin't mean the actual exhaust.
What I meant was the heatsheilds underneath the car that are vibrating because of a loose/missing bolt or nut to hold it in place.
Was the noise there before the clutch swap?
Did they replace the throw out bearing?
ya i know what ya meant.. i checked everything under the car.. seemed to check out. the noise wasn't there before the clutch swap.. however it wasnt there after it either... i got my clutch changed a looong time ago and the noise didn't come until recently.. they better have replaced the TOB, i told them too even tho i didn't provide one
