thats a really bad example to pick. There are a number of factors why that happens, missed shift, bad shift, could just be a plain bad driver. and its not hard for a awd car to beat either a fwd or rwd car with 50+ hp.

Not taing anything away from your driving skills, parts, or tune. The numbers are solid and enjoy the power

 

^^ hes not a bad driver he has run multiple 11.9-11.8's with it (sicks)

why is beyoend reality? a cutout works just like a tbe if not better, intake,fp,boost controller, intercooler and meth a 27lbs .. i dont see how thats not possible and capable of making 380whp

 

what mixture of meth are you running? if you are only pushin 27 pounds on meth, whats the point of having it? Im running 25 on my ix without meth....

 

He'll still make more power. The purpose of meth is to not only allow you to raise the boost, but to "make" a higher octane fuel. Therefore he could run more boost w/ less to no knock, but maybe the tune was set to advance the timing and not the boost. There are many factors there.

 

...wanna bet he's running waaaay more timing than you are. Don't focus on the numbers...27 is a good number, 28-30psi is where the magic happens...for most on 100% meth.

 

im running a 100% methanol, and yes if i get my car tuned for 29-30psi it will make more power, but right now this is plenty for the streets , after i get my next set of mods i may turn it a lb or 2

 

at that point every lb of boost counts and will make a nice difference

 

the boost will play more of a factor with torque than anything else. the car tapers the same after 5k so it doesnt make a difference when actually racing.

as far as daily driving a nice 400+ torque spike will put a huge smile on your face but Corrado takes care of the car and doesnt beat on it to push it.

Next parts we're both getting since we basically have the same exact setup is o2 housing, manifold and WGA.

With the WGA we're both hoping to hold couple more pounds to redline then running 30 pounds will definetly be worth it

Look how flat his hp curve is from 5-7500.... With the addition timing you can run from the meth is whats helping which may not make it a dyno queen, but it makes it a fast street car. hopefully these hks cams wont disappoint =-)

true that ... im hoping to order them sometime next month and running a bit more boost and make 400whp ... the car is a lot of fun as it is, specially for a DD ... ill try to go to the track soon and see wut i run , hopefully 11's
