Help two questions 35r and v-band

I just installed my 35r kit. Cranked the motor over 6 times with the coil packs and fuel pump disconnected to prime the turbo with oil. Then fired it up. Let the car idle for a minute while i checked for leaks. I have an exhaust leak at the v-band clamp on the DP. Condensation, feel, and hear the leak from the v-band. When i installed the kit i noticed that the flange was very slightly warped from the welding. It was very minimal though. I thought once i installed the clamp it would pull it together. Nope. Anyone know how get this to seal better? Is there like a male and female, mine just has two flat surfaces, it doesn't seem correct.

Second question i can hear the turbo continue spin after the car is shut off is this normal or are the bearings already shot? My stock and 20g was silent.

thanks but it seems noisy though? It spins for a good 30 seconds after the car is off with a strange noise.

Spin the turbo with your fingers and see how long it takes to stop, same idea.

If they are flat, take it to a machine shop to get it planed flat. My guy does it for next to nothing. I take anything I buy with flanges to him to get checked and planed before I waste my time installing it, since just about everything that's welded warps somewhat. High quality manifolds/etc will have signs of the flanges being planed flat after welding.
