Exhaust leak?
Exhaust leak?
I just installed a Buschur T3 turbo kit and a hta gt3582. I purchased each individually from members on Evom. I was running a FP Red
I am having very high afr at idle/cruise. It is ranging in the 20afr or so. When I give it some gas and start boosting the afr swings into normal range.
Could it possibly be a bad o2 sensor or an exhaust leak? I am using one v-band clamp btwn the O2 housing and downpipe. It seems snug. I am throwing no codes. My tune is the same as previous. I have not started messing with it due to the super high idle/cruise afr. I have not installed injectors or changed latencies. I simply installed the new turbo kit. Thank you for the help.

Anybody? I can also only hit wastgate pressure. I am playing with the vacuum lines but to no luck so far. I have the com port of my ebc connected to the top port and the NC port hooked teed off to the to both my bottom port of the wastegate and a pressure source. I do not have a tap on the compressor housing
Any help would be appriciated.

I need a little more info to help you out. Which ebc are you using? What wastegate are you using? And are you referring to your boost gauge not reading vacuum? Have you tried recalibrating your wideband since the install?
I am using a greddy profec b spec 2, I am running a tial 44mm wastegate. The boost guage is reading -15/-20inhg. My main problem the wideband reading an afr "---20%02" at idle and light cruise. Once I enter boost it appears to be normal. I have not tried to recalibrate the wideband I will have to try that. Thank you.

I have recalibrated the wideband and it seems to be better than the 20% o2 reading. Now it simply says 19:1 / 20:1 at idle I am going to cruise around and log to see how things are looking.

in this case there could be two things wrong; 1) the wb is too far from the turbo 2) there might be an exhaust leak where the dp and test pipe meet. get under the car and chek for the leak,
