P0134 CEL Light?
So for the past few weeks I've gotten the P0134 CEL a total of 3 times, with each occurrence being about 4-5 days apart. I get the light and almost immediately my cruise AFRs go to crap and start falling around 10-12. As soon as I clear the light with my AP the car continues to behave fine with afrs in the proper range of 14.3-15.5. I've had a local shop check for exhaust leaks where the turbo meets the downpipe and where the downpipe meets the test pipe and everything checked out okay. I have been in the process of getting E-Tuned, but the car never went extremely lean or rich and the car drives fine otherwise.
If the sensor were truly out or on its way out, would it really behave this way? Wouldn't idle/cruise afrs be crappy consistently instead of only when the light comes on?
I've ordered a replacement O2 sensor, so I'm hoping that fixes this but I would definitely appreciate some insight on my issue. I hope this isn't some other issue with the car.

P0134 Is your upstream(Before Catalytic Converter) 02 sensor - No Activity Detected
No activity means either something has blocked the 02 sensor in the exhaust from getting a reading or it simply has gone out. (or you have a REALLY REALLY bad exhaust leak, which would be hard not to notice)
The upstream sensor does control some engine related functions so it could cause the vehicle to run lean/idle and throw said code. Your best bet would be to swap in a new sensor. (If you have already made sure there is nothing blocking the sensor or an exhaust leak)
Correct me if I am wrong but I believe the after-cat sensor is the same part?
If this is the case just swap the two sensors and if the problem goes away then you know you just need a new sensor. In the case you don't have the money for a new sensor the after- cat 02 sensor is purely for emissions, so unless you need to get smogged anytime soon it isn't a huge deal to leave it there.
