First Mod?? {devil}
RMR intake, RMR downpipe, RMR exhaust, RMR intercooler hardpipe, RMR cross-brace, RMR ECU reflash, HKS turbo timer
Next steps will be slotted rotors, stainless brake lines and maybe a fuel management computer

I agree with N10S. Before you start having to worry about BOVs and added boost and upgraded turbos and such, there is a much easier, cheaper and more efficient path to go down.
Consider all the HP waiting to be freed in the intake and exhaust. By changing the intake, downpipe and exhaust, you can free up about 50-60 hp. After changing that, get the ECU reflashed for another 30 or so hp. If that still isn't enough, then start looking into upgraded turbos, cams, etc. But then prepare to $$$$...
I have done all of the mods above (using RMR parts) as well as hardpiping my intercooler. My car makes 300 whp on the dyno (which translates to about 350-360 bhp).
It runs perfectly, no stutters, at a steady 900 rpm idle.

Ive read a lot of threads stating that EVOs run lean after certain mods....does the ECU reflash take care of that...if so that is prob. something i want to do after some other mods...right or wrong.....however i will keep it mind since it will keep the dealer thinking the car is stock....what does it mean when you guys say 93 octane reflash...does that mean you program the car to perform best on that fuel........
IN NEED OF SERIOUS HELP!!! I currently own a U.S. Evo 8 and I need inputs on what mods to add. I'm currently deployed in the navy, but will be returning soon with mad cash...Internet is very slow by satellite, so it would be much appreciated if you could hit me up by email.....my address is fitzpatrickm2@curts.navy.mil
