I'll do a thorough search on the topic of USDM MR vs British Market MR cams being different and then get back to you. Maybe I was just spewing flotsam again. It just seems to me that I read where all USDM Evo VIII models come from the factory with the same cams.

I remember reading on LancerRegister that the British were seeing gains when switching their garden variety VIII cams out for British Market MR cams. I maybe should have researched the archives thoroughly before claiming this to be fact however.

No I dont think you are spewing flotsam (and nice word choice - havent heard that used in a sentence till now). I wonder if it is limited to just US MRs or all 05s - or just some 05s...kinda like 60-70s muscle cars. Some had hot parts randomly. Maybe next time I have a change to take my valve cover off Ill look for the part number on my cams.
