arp main stud torque specs

arp main stud torque specs

i have searched already and i cant find the torque specs for arp main cap studs for my evo.i also dont have the paper that comes with it.any help would greatly be apprecaited!thanks

I just put these on a while ago... I believe it is about 75 ft-lbs if you are using the lube it came with don't quote me though... It should be on the paper what the specs are.... it usually has more than one spec becasue they use the same paper for all of their bolts... if you really want to know just wait till tomarrow and i will let you know...

When you do it make sure before you put the studs in you blow out the holes of any oil.

thats link says it for ROD BOLTS.

thanks to ifarted2 he advised me to torque them to 60ft pounds.thanks again

It is 75lbs, but this is something that you should not take my word or anyone else's on. There are a lot of self proclaimed experts on here and mis information can cause a lot of damge. Call ARP.

It is 60 on ARP lube for Main studs.
