ETS Short route UICP stock air box?
Some people do prefer that, however, lots of guys like to retain their OEM battery as well. Many for the same reason, others for its larger reserve capacity. Our two different UICPs (stock battery and short route) offer the most possible options for the rest of the modification path of any lineup currently available

Tom I believe you are the perfect person who can answer whether or not your "short routing UICP's" can or can not work with the stock air box. I think the end user is looking for a simple yes or no answer.
Well if I'm not mistaken I believe the thread is called "ETS Short route UICP stock air box?"

Of course we can build customs because we do build everything house, but don't have intentions of a production UICP specifically designed to fit the stock airbox. If we were to do so it would retain both the OEM airbox and OEM battery in order to maintain an OEM appearance for traffic stop situations.
The fact remains that the stock UICP is 2.5" throughout and perfectly functional. Our stock battery and short route UICPs are a good performance upgrade because they cut 8" (stock battery) and 14" (short route) out of the stock routing length.
I couldn't in clear conscience tell a customer that they needed to purchase an UICP as a performance upgrade when it is the same diameter and length as the stock UICP (even if the hard pipes eliminate the OEM flex hose), so it's not something we've built or plan to build. If our customers want to maintain the stock appearance of the airbox we encourage other modifications that will produce power/spoolup gains.

Heres mine, i no longer have the ets mini battery, but I've gotten it pretty stealth i just hacked up the Maf mounting piece of the bottom portion of the stock air box, and also cut my intake tape a bit shorter and got everything to fit, i'll take a better pic later
but this is all i've got right now, several people have done this already in Norcalevo, i got it off my tuner Bryan@GST(razorlab)

Monster Sport is the only i/c kit i know of that will work with stock batt & stock airbox (since they make a carbon airbox cover), however for the price they charge u could get 2SETS of ETS piping!!!
