It seems to be rather common knowledge that The Shop's DD is adjusted to read just like a Dynojet. This being the case, the numbers quoted in these charts are representative of Dynojet numbers, not typical Dyno Dynamics numbers. Still 487whp is good for an FP Green, even in Dynojet terms.

Just FYI.
this i realize, but we still dont know the direct relation between the two. how close is it clabrated to a dynojet? this is y im courious.

why is the RPM scaling all messed up? Or do they only do 6k pulls there? Nice numbers, lets see what she can run at the track.

It's easy to change the 'correction factor' on a Dyno Dynamics (and I believe a Mustang as well) in order to mimic numbers on another dyno. I've witnessed it done. Either this dyno was set that way as delivered (a possibility for newer versions going to American customers), or it was set post delivery. Either way, it reads like a DJ, and that's been established with this particular dyno prior to this discussion. As for the what a stock EVO generates on a DD with the traditional setting, it's around 200whp.

um i think thats a bit of an overstatement but nice numbers regardless of what correction factor/changes this dyno sheet has undergone.

Not really, but this particular dyno has already been discussed. A stock EVO 8 gives about 200whp on a regular DD. A stock EVO 8 gives ~230whp on a Dynojet, just as it does on the dyno you're using (as you've already noted). IIRC, this is old news.

But yet again, that should not come as a disappointment, as those are very nice numbers for an FP Green.

I AGREE!! I Will def post when I hit the track.. dyno queens dont win at the track. If the car holds together it should be a BOTTOM BOTTOM 11 if not high 10's.. But only one way to find out

Check yourself sir.

The most accurate correction factor we've found between the two is 1.13, not 1.2. This comes from direct A/B testing, strictly for this purpose. Furthermore, not being new to DD dynos (they are all I use), I know just a little bit bit about those 'facts' too (debating the math with a rep from The Shop right now. . . )

Now, carry on.

To the original poster, are you on a stock block? If so, congrats on an awesome car.

The Motor is stock, except for the HKS 272 cams and ARP Headstuds, It still has the stock UICP they must have looked like ballons during the runs.. LOL

The rest of the mods are listed on my first tune at the dyno.. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ighlight=green

Thanks man!

I think your at your limits with the Green. It drops flat on it's @ss after 6k rpm's, but still is putting down over 300 lbs/tq post 6K. This is a great street turbo. Can't wait to get one.

Thanks for the post.
