2.3 L with 35R and meth...WHAT CLUTCH TO CHOOSE???

im getting my motor back next week, its a 2.3 L stroker wit the AMS GT35r Kit. need to decide on what clutch to use. stock tranny and diffs still. what clutch are you guys using on this setup. any comments are welcome.

Nothing less than a twin disk I would say...... Exedy HD perhaps. The SD will hold, but for how long? The pedal feel on the HD is not the kindest either.

I'm using the extreme act, and its been doing fine for me, should be breaking the 600 mark very soon.

is that the 6 puck clutch? ive driven on a 6 puck clutch in my hondas and i kno its not the greatest for daily driven n in traffic. but the price difference is like $1000 difference

for this setup will a twin disk hold or is the tripple disk better?

I would either run a exedy HD twin or a Tilton.

Money is certainly an big variable in this case. Go with all the clutch you can afford, and that fits your style of driving.

That sucks cause I just installed my 35R and gettting meth also and I only have the ACT street disc. good to 450hp. We'll see how long I can make it last.

It will hold up for a little bit, the ACT extreme would have did you better tho.
