To those running high horsepower and stock MAF.

I am wondering what the best/safest choice is for those people still running the stock MAF honeycomb on high horsepower, big turbo motors. I know some people have reinforced it and others say they've taken it out but not sure which is better, or if I should even worry about it.

Don't touch it unless you want trouble.

You don't have anything to worry about, unless you have an intake pipe that vents the BOV back through the MAF. That seems to be the cause of the issue with the screen.

Ok. I have the Buschur hardpipe and a recirculating Forge BOV after the MAF.

I can't recall that design, but the best BOV vent design is one that merges into the intake tube at a very shallow angle, such that it is aimed directly at the turbo compressor. The ones that I've seen that caused trouble were closer to 90 deg angles, and were placed close to the MAF.
