My car ran with a BAD coil, on 2 cylinders. Did you reset the ECU? Your amp might have fried the wires also? I ran on ONE coil, maybe if you fried BOTH coils, it would NOT start. If you take a coil out, and look around the tops of it, and sides, you can see where it is Fubared. How do you check if a coil is working? Put a scewdriver in the hole after you take it off the sparkplug, and try to crank it? I can't remember how they checked mine, but there is a way to see if they are generating spark. I would wait for that answer, or search. I am not sure, but you can see if the spark is getting from the coil, to the plug.

Maybe take out the boot on a plug, put another spare plug in there, and crank it over, and see if you see the arc, spark. if so, coil good. Check with someone who knows, as I don't want to blow you up! LOL.

disconnect the battery and leave it for about 15 mins and then reconnect the battery. That should reset the ecu

wow...I know your trying to help but guessing at problems and junking a part without proper diagnosis is not quite right.

You could reinstall the amp and see if the problem repeats itself. Or whip out your trusty ohm meter, and see if the box is shorted.

My friend and I had the same problem. The fuse blown and everything. It turns out one of the wires on the Dli II was grounding out against the chassis and blowing the fuse. May be worth checking out
