Boost Problem.....

Ok,i finally got a chance to install my boost gauge..I read in a few other threds that the evo 9 push around 20 psi from the factory..We have 93 octane here in Georgia..The highest i have gotten the gauge to read was 15 psi..I am thinking i have a boost leak somewhere..The car had a manual boost controller on it when i bought the car..Could it be causing such a low boost reading??I also noticed a flutter in the gauge in fourth gear...Any suggestions greatly appreciated..Justin

I was wondering when i bought the car,why it just didnt feel that fast to me..I came from a mildly modified wrx..And this car only felt a little bit faster than the rex..Tomorrow,im gonna go through the car..Checking for leaks..If its not a leak, any idea what it could be??Justin

Yea. Check for leaks. Also have you tried turning the MBC up? You can run 21psi fairly safely on 93 octane, but its best to be tuned. If you need a good tuner check out Dyno4mance. Great guys!

Is the MBC still on there? If so, have you tried turning it up?
