Your list is awful.

Cams, definitely
Meth, definitely
VSR? Stock turbo... ehh $900-1000 for minimal gains.. 99% of people say not worth it
Cam gears? Definitely dont need those
Ignition? Ru serious?
Injectors? Not needed on any stock turbo setup, especially with meth
We can assume he will get a tune.

Your list is just a bunch of mods he doesnt need, espeically on the stock turbo (except 1/2).

I do agree he should max out bolt ons before looking at turbo upgrades but the mods you listed are certainly things he does not need and would not benefit from much if at all.

don't forget headstuds...if you're running meth and higher boost, i'd say this is a def.

Head studs are really not needed. I have been running 30psi since Feburary on stock head studs.

I made like 315ish on the BR dyno (mustang) on 93 oct 22psi conservative tune. With cams of course. This was with the 20G-9-5 also.

Off topic, have you run your car down the track with that same set-up? Just wondering what's your mph is? Thanks

Back to the original post. I don't believe in running meth. Too many horror story. So the best bet is the green. I know the green is an expensive investment, but it'll worth it in the long run.

Why would you want a 9 turbo? Get cams and meth and crank up the boost on your 8 first. And then get a bigger turbo, depending on what you want from the car you can either get a green and have a street monster, or skip green and step up to a bigger unit to run quick 1/4's.

If you're going to pay $500 for a 9 turbo try to get one with the install kit (outlet pipe and oil and water lines) with it. If not get it from one of the mitsubishi parts dealers on the forum here for around $75.

The answer to your dilema is all of the above like someone already said. Get the 9 add meth when you want more send off to the 9 to get FP'd. Just get cams.

And get those mirrors outta your sig.
