Not trying to through the post/thread off topic but this has spawned some questions of my own:
Which is better? Green or TME? as far as price per hp/tq? Just thought I'd ask incase it was an option. How much boost can you achieve on mid-grade pump gas safely as a Daily Driver? I'm looking for 300-350hp myself, this info kinda helps me too to figure out what I'm getting into as well, thanks for the post! Seems like I can achieve 300-350hp on the stock turbo. My concern though is what octane and boost levels would that take and is it safe as a daily driver without wearing out the turbo or engine.

 

if you want to run meth all the time then get the 9. if you want to run pump only get the green. if you are going to get a bigger turbo eventaully you are probably going to use meth later. might as well get the meth and 9 turbo thingy

 

hehe ... have you noticed how most of the "green advocates" simply say "go green" whereas the guys suggesting the EVO9 actually support their answers? That should give you a hint right there. The green is very popular right now, but aside from the hype I think

1) add cams
2) get EVO9
3) add meth
4) upgrade EVO9 => Green (or something bigger)

seems like a more logical upgrade path, just my 2 cents

 

That's because benefits of green have been discussed ad nauseum. So here's my addition to this thread: Go Green, if you plan to run higher boost.
