I don't think I'd make that recommendation. Depending upon the rest of the configuration, the stock injectors are far more likely to be over the limit than under. Quite frankly, if one can't overrun the factory injectors with a GT3076R and pump fuel, he isn't getting his money's worth out of the turbo kit.

Better to be safe than sorry, especially when we're dealing with <$300.

Yea

Yea you caN FIND A NICE SET OF USED INJECTORS ON HERE IN THE CLASSIFIED SECTION FOR A PRETTY RESONABLE PRICE. I PICKED UP DENSO 770'S FOR I BELIEVE 145 SHIPPED OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT!

What will they technically flow enough to support HP wise in a #.
Maybe that will make it easier to see where that threshold is.

The threshold is about 20-21 psi at 7k to get to 100% on the stock injectors. This was on my car with cams and all other supporting upgrades. I would keep things below that until you upgrade injectors.

The stock injectors are 550cc/min, or roughly 52 lb/hr.

Given a BSFC of 0.55 lb/hr/lb, that works out to ~380 bhp (not whp) before they reach their rated capacity. Injectors aren't rated at 100% IDC, so there is some cushion (15-20%), but any setup capable of 400whp on either 93 octane or race gasoline will demand an injector upgrade.

Your going to need to do some homework:

Max HP= (injector mass flow rate) x( # of injectors)x( duty cycle)/ Brake specific Fuel consumption..

This is the formula--No, I didn't throw in your numbers... and you will need to make some determinations for whats being asked here..there maybe a calculator on line...
