bigger injetors first, then it depends. 30psi daily, 36 at the track.

 

Ams told me they wont flash anything over the 880cc. Im running on the stock ecu cause of emissions.

 

im sure ull be able to run 30 psi

 

my only thing is I had a stock block and i put on the 35r,meth kit,880s and i laid down 485whp on the dyno. I lasted about 4000 mi till my bottom end gave out . I check my meth kit when the motor went and everything is still functioning correctly so i dont know if 485 was just too much 4 the bottom end or maybe the meth blew me up. Im in between a rock and a hard place. My question is should i keep the meth now that i built the stroker and the head?

485 Is def. not too much for stock bottom end. No where close.

 

My question shouldnt be how much boost it should be........ Should i keep the meth injection. I just need a bunch of input cause i am awaiting tuning.

 

i have virtually the same setup as you do.

34psi. everyday.....and when it's cold out.......it boosts higher.......

I put down 592 on my stock bottom end, an ran it for about 30k miles......

when i hear this it leads me to beleive it might have been the meth then.

 

I would check your Meth setup and make sure you have a great failsafe (e.g. ZT2)...If you run modest boost (on just pump gas), you should have gone with a different turbo selection IMHO...

 

first off the 880's will do you just fine. The 1000's are just a pain to tune so stay away from them unless you ABSOLUTELY push the setup to the max.....

So if I understand this correctly you are now on a built head and stroker? If that's the case it all depends on your hopes and dreams.

If you want to be in the 500hp club you need meth bro. You can make good power from a 35R without high boost and meth. For example a local VIII has our 35R kit on it and makes 458whp at 22psi. just 93 octane, no meth and a stock head. Needless to say you should be able to make a bit more power with a good flowing head.

I would recommend you wait to run the meth until you get tuned so you have lower risk involved. Sounds like you probably broke your piggy bank on this last build.
