transfer case, diferential oils????

what viscosities, types, and how many quarts for both?

i have about 34,000 miles now and i have never changed them. the tranny fluid was changed with my clutch.

please help. thanks.

My rear oil looked like crap after 20K so imagine 34K. Just pump diaqueen until it leaks out of the fill holes. Try to change them ever 15K which will lessen your chances for problems.

this post is spot on, this is the only fluid you want to run in the t-case and rear diff. Some are using Redline mixtures of shockproof and 90w or various other combos. The stock fluid may be expensive, but it gets the job done.

A new trend is developing, where the 5-sp. gearboxes are switching from Syncromesh, Syncroshift, etc. to the 6-sp. stock fluid. I haven't tried it yet personally, but there are a few threads here of people that have used the 6-sp. stock tranny fluid in the 5-sp. gearbox and love it.

Yes the same fluid for the transfer case goes into the rear diff.
