Most of the time the transfer cases are not rebuildable, and if it can be rebuilt, it will cost you an arm and a leg. You can send it to Shep (www.sheptrans.com) and he can check it for you and shed more light on your situation. The price will still be cheaper to rebuild then to buy a new one from the dealer, and I would be hesitant on buying one from a junk yard since you can never find out what brought it to the yard in the first place. If the car was in a accident that put major shock on the drive-train, it might possibly be damaged as well.

i need a transfer case asap the one in the car is completly gone and the car is in a garage. I dont really wanna get a used one or rebuilt. Does anyone know where i can get a new one asap. Thanks
