Problems with clutch pedal to high? *FIXED*
What kind of problems will result from the clutch pedal adjusted to high?
I have mine adjusted to the point of not seeing any threads, and its actually about negative -1 thread. It is the only way to move my exedy engaugement to moreso about 2" off the floor, from the 1" off the floor with the pedal showing 1 thread.
What do you guys recommend? Should I just suck it up with having it 1" off the floor? I want the engaugement of the clutch about 3" from the floor but I am completley out of clutch pedal adjustment here. LMK
EDIT***: We bled the clutch today and as soon as the bleeder was opened up, it spewed fluid/air for a good 5 seconds...closed, opened, it spewed some more. Once bled, got into the car and the clutch pedal was certainly firmer. The pedal was also only about 5-6 inches from the floor, rather than the 8-9 that it was originally. Shifting feels great, clutch engauges right in the middle now!

What? Is there another adjustment that im missing here?
I have been adjusting the rod clockwise as far as it will go. Is there something other than that to adjust the pedal more downwards but keep the engaugement in the middle?

Ok, so the clutch pedal must engauge 3" from the floor. This I have read over & over, but like ive said over & over, Ive adjusted my pedal as high as it will go and it begins to engauge 1.5-2" from the firewall. I have about 5 pure inches of play after its engauged. I tried lowering the pedal last night to what would be considered 'in-spec', and I couldnt even put the car into ANY gear. I was locked out of everything. Raising the pedal is the only way I can get it into gear... and when it does go into gear, it is smooth like butter.

Also, when I go to disengauge the car, say at 20mph, it feels like the car catches on something before it truly releases. Maybe its bc the pedal has 8" that needs to be depressed and it takes a while before its fully released.
I really need some insight from some of the senior members here reguarding this.

Why will it make it worse? It has never been bled in my possession, and who knows if the previous owner ever did when he installed the new clutch back in the day.
