I buy it from a local Chem store.

I use it as a buffer for experimenting.

I will use it when I go to the track, just as an extra safety measure.

I am just honest as to why I buy it, and no cops knock on my door.

So what would be the ratio of fuel/toluone to use for a bit of 'street fun' every now and then for a bit of added protection?

be careful with toluene, polymeric materials in the fuel system might not stand up to well to it

just add a cap full of mavel mystery oil to it before you put it in.....

but for that price you could just buy a gallon of racegas...

What is this mavel mystery oil you speak of?

I use Toluene the odd time (race gas is very hard to get for me) for tuning purposes or for added safety.

I add about 1 gallon to a tank, but I know I can easily add 2.

Anything wrong with adding a gallon every now and then?

I don't use it often, maybe 3 or 4 times a year.

So a 1:10 ratio of Tol. ----> Pump gas would be fine and add a bit of octane?

put a cap full of it in every gallon to lubricate the toulene, because it has no lubricants and will rot out your lines and seals

What I mean is I have never heard of this mavel oil stuff.

I have heard of tranny fluid, can I use that?

I also live in Canada, so some of our brands are a bit different.

So if I mix in some tranny fluid into my 5 gallon container of Toluene will it be OK to last for a number of months?

Thanks.
