There a several threads on what lube to use where...overall anyone who has had a failure of any kind has been told to use Mitsu lube in the trans case...and that includes everyone who lost a trans case do to a fluid change...and i think we have seen them all.....For me Mobil 1 failed in mine and I ran that in several other cars in various capacities without failure and in one case stripped a trans after 100k miles and you could eat off the gears it was so clean ....not with the mitsu trans case...gone in 1 month.. USE the Mitsu Recommended Lube..
