Just got retuned for my RNR kit that was bought new before all the bad hype with RNR. I finally installed it 2 years later! I bought it without a turbo, so i sourced my own Precision 6031RE ball bearing turbo. Here are the results...


21 PSI on 93 pump gas






29 PSI with C-16

 

Mods are:
Precision 6031 RE BB turbo on a RNR manifold and O2 housing
3" Buschur TBE
BR IC with upper and lower pipes
BR intake
BR 680 Injectors
HKS 272's
Crappy DynFlash racegas tune that knocks

 

Why wouldn't it make power? It's a big *** turbo. Plus it's not so much the RNR kit considering you swapped out your turbo with the PTE.

Anyway, nice numbers man.

 

why did you only do pulls from 4k up?

 

Al did the last pulls from a higher RPM.

made 406 on pump and 471 on race gas...

 

mmm. what size turbo is that? I am not very fqmilar with it... my rnr setup made 370whp pump and 453whp race gas..my numbers are not stellar but I am working on that lol

 

Its a BB 6031re from Precision Turbo, it somewhat like a GT30R. What turbo is on yours?

Actually its not that huge. Its rated at 590Hp and is similar to the GT30 in terms of spool and power.

 

Nice bro! I like how flat the torque curve is. I don't know why so many people knock these kits. They're just hardware. Power is 90% the tune

 

^ I agree, and the other main thing is TURBO SELECTION. Thats the key.
