Car falls on its face during boost
Im having a problem with my car. Lately, when I reach full boost sometimes it just falls on its face and then immediately picks back up. It almost feels like really bad compressor surge or fuel cut. I know its not fuel cut bc it does it even when i turn the boost down. It could even be boost leak bc i have old clamps but im not sure. any ideas? Thanks guys!

It doesn't happen every time I go WOT but it seems to only happen during WOT. I haven't tried to duplicate it at part-throttle. Maybe I will try tomorrow. Can it really be knock that is causing this? If so I better turn the boost down for the time being until I get this sorted out... Thanks guys!
I'm experiencing the same problem. It only happens at WOT and doesn't do it all the time. The car sorta stutters and has a delay in power and acceleration. I recently had an intake and FMIC installed, could it be due to not being tuned?

It sounds like it could be either knock or your spark being blown out... either way, you will need to get the car re-tuned. I just hope you haven't done so many WOT that the head gasket is popped.

I'm still on stock tune. But that is probably the problem then haha.
Definatly no popped headgasket, I know what that is like.

yes im running speed density. Certified EMS tuner in raleigh did the tune. I dont have the UEGO yet but I probably will get it now along with an AEM serial guage to monitor knock and other vital parameters.
