the easiest way to get to the sensor is to take off the serpentine belt, remove the 2 pulleys that are covering the lower timing belt cover, then remove the lower cover itself. you may also have to take off the tensioner pulley for the serpentine belt, i dont remember. The sensor sits inside just off to the right side of the crank sprocket... You do not have to take off your timing belt to see it... and if you are careful you can actually replace the sensor without taking off the timing belt. Now here is the *** pain, to replace the sensor and send it thru the stock location, you have to take off the power steering pump and the bracket holding it in place... or you can cut the new sensor and resolder it when you are done running the wire. I have done it both ways and they both work just fine.

if you put it in upside down, the crank blade will not spin thru the sensor.... the blade should some spin thru the sensor so the tab should be on the inside.
i just started up the car with the new sensor in and the codes are still there. I earased them and started the car up again and they came back.
What should i do now ive replaced both the cam and crank sensors .

the timing has been checked twice by a shop and the car has been inspected numerous times with no mechanical error.
could the cam positions sensor be installed incorectly.
the codes are camshaft sensor A- bank 1 circut malfunction, and crank sensor A circut malfunction
what else do i have to replace
