Apexi AVC-R vs. any MBC
I have a buddy who has an avc-r and he had sold me. His car will hold 24psi to redline with very soft fluctuations. I personally could not afford the avc-r at this time, so I bought a hallman in-cabin mbc at a very good price. A price I could not refuse. My hallman has also soft fluctuations but holds 23psi quite well until redline. $100...or $400. Your call. I am happy with my decision.
I know this is not what you were asking for, but the AVC-R is one of the last EBC I would buy. Despite it's extensive features, it's unnecessarily complicated to tune for the results. That alone would have me leaning toward an MBC.
Anyway, I am just subscribing to see if there are any results.

If my laptop was working I'd get you logs, but you could take my word for it. I had a TurboXS Manual Boost controller, and it sucked. I am so much happier with my AVC-R. If you know how to read and take your time, it's very easy to set up, and does not fluctuate with weather changes.
