My mods: B&B TurboBack(without any cats), Ralliart flat intake, Clutch master stage 3,EBC AVC-R, HKS BOV,HKS IC piping. Is there enouth to beat m3?

Damn. My buddy has an M3 and that thing is fast. We did a few launches with an STi and a modded WRX. It beat all of us. We switched cars with the same result. A word of advice, once your ahead, quickly hit your hazards and let off. The M3's top end is ridiculous so you don't want to keep going. Good luck.

Dude you should have no problem beating that guy. But since you're doing such a long race he might actually beat you. That car has awesome top end!! I have a similar set up as you do and i toasted the new M3.

It's tuff to say what your HP # is since we've concluded that each car is different meaning that some dyno higher than others. My guess is that you're somewhere around the 265-275 WHP. I notice that you didn't have any type of fuel controller. You might want to look into one of those. Either the Apexi or HKS. Leaning out your car will give you some nice HP gains.

Good luck!!

Question It's hard to tell...

...without knowing an estimate of the actual power you are putting on the wheels (via chassis dyno, G-tech or other means), as well as boost settings, fuel/timing, etc., your chances are 50/50.

You will need Vishnu Performance Stage 1 (3" Down-pipe, HiFlo cat, and catback), combined with in/ex camshaft sprockets set at minus 5 degrees, and Xede 93 Octane Map (preferably tuned).

With such setup, users have already reported 2 cars ahead of U.S. 333Hp M3., from a roll.

The Evo's top-end will be your limiting factor when racing against the M3. However, with a setup similar to that (I have it, plus Unorthodox SS Pulley set), the EVO becomes another car, altogether.

Good luck, and drive safely!

Tell you the turth, for the 2Km racing, you got NO chance with your mod, unless the M3 driver can't drive !! Like other said, M3's top end will eat you live !! Let us know the result either you win or lose !!

Volcan, how do you like the pulleys?? I've been thinking about getting them but I'm just not sure. I haven't heard enough about them on the evo's.
