Which Turbo spools faster ??
This is the part that interested me ...
GT3076R Kit - 650 HP - Spool 3000 - 3600 RPM
GT3071R Kit - 575 HP - Spool 3200 - 3800 RPM
GT35RL Kit - 775 HP - Spool 3600 - 4200 RPM
Now I thought the GT3076R spooled at 3200 RPM. (as claimed on the AMS site), sure this is not a misprint ??
The price is great, its actually cheaper than on the AMS site, by $280.95
Can you tell me about the 50 trim, what is the GT???? number for this kit. The AMS site claims the 50 trim spins up faster than the 3076 .... so is it a smaller turbo ??
I'm leaning towards the 3076R, but before I enter the VISA details... couple of questions.
I noticed that the Buschur version is much cheaper ---> https://secure.buschurracing.com/cat...roducts_id=123
is that because, there is no Tubular Header included?

I am making 500/500 on a 2.4L w/ a 50trim .63 ar. The 500hp would be the same on the 2.0 but the torque would be about 100 off to 400ftlbs. It was tuned at 30psi.

50 trim and the Green are in the same ballpark, although the Green will have higher torque and the 50trim will have higher HP.
If the Green doesn't do it for you, you'll want bigger than a 50trim.

Just had another car in AUS done with Green ...
It only made 210 Rear Wheel Kw. @ 22 PSI
-Power FC
-3" Exhaust
That is **** ...
I think I'm gonna cancel my order and just go a 3065 from Buschur ...

Why in the world are you basing what you do on what other folks down there are getting. You say you want spool, you see what folks are making for power here and what sort of times guys run.
In the end it seems your interested ONLY IN THE HP # and thats not what you said you wanted in the first place. You need to figure out what you want and then go for that.
If you want the HP however don't ***** out, build the block and go for the HTA35r as it is the only big turbo I would consider right now. David Buschur just did a mid 9 second 150mph + 1/4 with one on a car he drives daily. Would that make enough power for you?

So a tick over 400hp on pump gas. In this case, methanol injection would be a healthy additive for safety.
400hp is never enough, once you start getting into the higher HP numbers, the desire to upgrade gets much more intense.
I would say get the EMS and fuel system sorted, then go for the HTA35R kit....
With some precautions like ARP headstuds and a new headgasket (not always necessary), as well as a good set of cams, stupid-fast power on a stock block is entirely possible and rather easy these days.
35R spool up for the HTA is unprecedented and should be a consideration.
If you do all of this right, the only major difference between 400hp AND 500hp would be a different tune, turn of the knob on the MBC and extra money for traffic citations.
